Do you need an e-Arrival Card?
The official e-Arrival Card site asks what you hold when you arrive: a visa, a K-ETA, a Korean residence card, or none of these. Its built-in navigator tells you whether you must submit. As a rule, travelers who hold a valid K-ETA do not need to fill in an arrival card — that is one of the reasons people still apply for K-ETA during the exemption period.
When and where to submit
- Use only the official site, e-arrivalcard.go.kr. It is free.
- You can submit within 3 days before your arrival in Korea.
- One form covers 1–9 people traveling together; tour groups can file 2–1,000 people.
What to prepare
- A valid passport (the form reads the details from it)
- An email address for the confirmation
- Your flight number and arrival date
- Your address in Korea — the hotel name and address is fine
- The purpose of your visit and how long you will stay
Step by step
1. Agree to the terms and verify your email. 2. Enter your passport information. 3. Enter your travel itinerary and address in Korea. 4. Review and submit. You can check or edit the card later with the issue number or by verifying your email.
Watch out for paid look-alike sites
Several websites charge a “processing fee” to submit the same free form. The official service never charges. If a site asks for card payment for the arrival card, close it and go to e-arrivalcard.go.kr.
